The Progressive Democrats of Somerville has invited the Boston Human Rights Campaign Meetup to attend its candidates’ forum and general meeting. Senator Jarrett Barrios and Mike Festa will participate and both are running for Middlesex District Attorney which includes Cambridge, Somerville, and Lowell. Senator Barrios is one of the most distinguished progressive politicians in the state who also led the fight against the proposed state ban on marriage and was among the first to receive a marriage license last May at Cambridge City Hall.
